General Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Public Health
General Education Requirements: General Education core requirements must include a minimum of 34 hours from the broad categories listed below:
Communication (11 hours)
INT 101, GBK 101 may be used in lieu of INT 101 (4); INT 201(4); INT 301 (3)
 
Religious Heritage (3 hours)

Humanities/Fine Arts (3 hours)

Behavioral/Social Science (6 hours)

Quantitative Reasoning (3 hours)
STA 126 (3) and MAT 133 (4) with a grade of C or better. To enroll in CHM 111, students must earn a grade of C or better in MAT 133. If a student completes the equivalent of CHM 111 at another college or university, the student must still complete MAT 133 as part of the general education requirements for this program.
 
Scientific Reasoning (8 hours)
CHM 111 (4); CHM 112 (4) with a grade of C or better. To advance to CHM 112 and BIO 211, students must earn a grade of C or better in CHM 111.
