Campus Life
The Campus Life office oversees 140 student organizations including academic, religious, media, governance, multicultural, service, and special interest groups. Campus Life also advises Quadworks, the student programming board, as well as Mercer Maniacs spirit group. These organizations plan campus life sponsored events such as Homecoming week, Bearstock music concert, trivia nights, bingo, football tailgating and bus trips to sporting events.
Leadership opportunities are available through Campus Life, including the National Society of Leadership and Success for first year students, leadership workshops and lectures, and a variety of student leadership positions.
Campus life houses Fraternity and Sorority Programs which includes twenty chapters from four councils. Approximately 25% of the Mercer undergraduate student body is affiliated with a chapter on campus. Fraternity chapters include the following: Alpha Tau Omega, Delta Epsilon Psi, Kappa Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, Phi Delta Theta, Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and Sigma Nu. Sorority chapters include the following: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Chi Omega, Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Mu, Sigma Sigma Rho, and Zeta Phi Beta.
